Unlike other demos, Demigod demo contains lot of game play for you guys to play. Vampire The Masquerade- Bloodlines patch 6.4 update is an unofficial patch released for the game. Patch 6.4 for Vampire the Masquerade Bloodlines is out and hence is available for download. It is a 152MB patch update that you can download using the link given at the bottom of this post. Well Vampire patch 6.4 version is for the retail as well as Direct 2 Drive version of the game only. This patch contains all the previous patches released for the game.

Left 4 Dead 2 characters list have been revealed by Electronic Arts. Both protagonists and antagonists are revealed for the Left 4 Dead 2. Left 4 Dead 2 Characters (Protagonists):

1. Coach - Coach is . . . what else? A football coach! A HIGH SCHOOL football coach, no less. Coach works from the Savannah area where the game starts out. A natural leader that is used to bossing the kids around, he lives a comfortable life and is not happy at the arrival of zombies to mess up his day.



2. Ellis - Not a girl but a guy, Ellis is a mechanic from the South. He is enthusiastic about his job and a smart guy in general. And he is there to give the game some “Southern flair” to match the game’s Southern locations.



3. Nick - Nick is not a nice guy, but a swindler, conman, gambler . . . He is cynical about the events taking place in his town and has no trust in the company around him.



4. Rochelle - The lone female character of the group, she is originally from Cleveland but is living in Savannah at the time of the zombie outbreak due to her work. She works for a cable news network and is producing a segment on the “strange story taking place in Savannah” when she gets caught up in the thick of things as they occur.

Left 4 Dead 2 Character list (Antagonists):

1. Boomer - The fat man of the game who covers you in dangerous bile that causes zombie hordes to get even more bloodthirsty.



2. Charger (New) - A large but very fast moving creature with a long mutant arm.



3. Common-Uncommons (New) - Possibly a non-final name. These zombies are unique to each stage. In the swamp stage for example, you will fight “mud-men” like Common-Uncommons who are fast but crawl.



4. Hunter - A hoodie-wearing parkour enemy that is fast and very agile.



5. Infected - Your common house-hold zombie. Come in all varieties of appearance.



6. Smoker - Looks like an average joe, but has a very long tongue and symptoms of the smoker’s life. i.e. coughing and weezing to oblivion. A very unpleasant zombie. If they can get any more unpleasant.



7. Spitter (New) - Acting kind of like a mortar, the zombie spit from a Spitter will create damage in an area around where it lands. Easily splitting up your group.



8. Tank - A body-builder gone wrong. Huge (Hulk-like), strong, very powerful.



9. Witch - A slinder, small but incredibly disturbing, creepy woman. The opposite of a tank but just as deadly.

The Sims 3 Patch 1.3

Almost once in a month, a new Sims 3 patch is coming. Now has come the Sims 3 patch 1.3 which is such a big fix to the game that it is not possible for us to detail each and every update made by Sims 3 1.3 patch here. It will update your game to the current v1.3. The link to download the Sims 3 update 1.3 is given at the end of this post.

Tough every update created by the Sims 3 patch 1.3 is important but we are listing below only few of them.

After getting promoted in a job with a night shift the Sim will only receive the day off if their next shift starts within 8 hours.
Exporting and Sharing a Level 10 Gardener Sim properly maintains their special abilities.
Fixes to Story Progression. Babies will no longer be born to single parents. Player created or controlled households are now “protected” and will no longer be removed through “Story Progression.” Warning: Story Progression will no longer remove previously player controlled Sims. Users who take control of too many Sims in the same game may experience poor performance as the neighborhood can become over populated.
Switching between multiple saved outfits of the same type no longer has the potential to wipe out saved outfits.
Waterlillies now have a smoother level of detail transition when zooming the camera.
Camera memory hotkeys now properly remember floor level.
Certain situations will now properly stop socialization and disallow asking other Sims to join.
Bait picker for fishing has been improved.
Sims no longer automatically exit the bathtub before receiving the “Bathe until Tranquil” moodlet.
Sims can no longer interview non-playable ghosts.
Addressed an issue where distant audio could occasionally be heard while the player is focused on a Sim is inside their own home.
Changing jobs no longer fulfills the “Meet All Co-workers” Wish.

Theatre of War 2 Centauro Announced

Theatre of War 2 Centauro has been announced by 1C Company and Battlefront.com. It is an expansion pack to Theatre of War 2 Africa 1943 which was so widely acclaimed. The expansion pack is a tribute to 131st Armored Division Centauro of Italy which did excellently during the World War 2. Because Theatre of War 2 Centauro focuses on Centauro division of Italy which was the formation during World War 2, so it is likely to contain the events of WW2.

Theatre of War 2 Centauro expansion pack is going to be packed with lot of features, campaigns and missions. It consists of missions ranging from Al Ageyla in Libya to the battles of Tunisia. Real battles of Tunisia are to be featured in Theatre of War 2 Centauro. Ten new missions have been specially crafted on the basis of battle of Tunisia in theatre of War 2 Centauro. The expansion will also include ten new maps featuring the deserts and mountian landscapes of North Africa.

Along with this ten new military vehicles will be making their debut through Theatre of War 2 Centauro expansion pack which includes vehicles such as Semovente M40 tank destroyer, the Carro Armato M13/40 medium tank, the Autoblinda AB 40 armored car, and many more. The expansion is mostly based on the events of Tunisia that occured during the World War 2 in 1943. Player will take the charge of German Afrika Korps in their last full scale attack . The game will include 3 campaigns and 15 missions in total.

The release date for Theatre of War 2 Centauro is supposed to be late this year. It is likely to come in November when you would be able to buy it or download it digitally for mere $25. It is not yet confirmed whether any Theatre of War 2 Centauro demo will come up or not. We will update you regarding the Theatre of War 2 demo, whenever any news arrives regarding it.

Mafia 2 Release Date Confirmed

You should feel happy now as Mafia 2 release date has been confirmed. Who says that the release of Mafia 2 is postponed indefinitely. SwapGames, the UK based game retailer has confirmed the Mafia 2 release date to be September 25 for both PS3 and Xbox 360. You can check on the listing at the company's website here that gives you an exact release date for the Mafia 2 for Xbox 360. Well the game is supposed to come on the same day for PS3 also.

Though Swapgames have confirmed the Mafia 2 release date but it is not sure whether this is the release date for North American version of the game, or European version only. However if this is the exact date for the Mafia 2 release, you can expect the game arriving on or around September 25 in USA as well.

Divinity 2 patch 1.01 is a German language patch only as the game is not available in other regions of the world yet. Tom Clancy's Endwar sequel is confirmed to be in development. Not given the name yet, it is being referred to as EndWar 2 by the folks around the world. EndWar 2 is in development by Ubisoft Shangai as revealed by Ubisoft creative director Michael de Platter who revealed the EndWar sequel. However he didn't mentioned about the release date for EndWar 2.

Lunar Racing Championship PC Unveiled

Lunar Racing Championship is a VirtuePlay's new online racing game for PC which lets you take racing championship challenges on the Lunar surface. That is it lets you compete with other racers on the surface of the moon and not on the earth. Mary T Duda, CEO and President of VirtuePlay gave details on the Lunar Racing Championship PC while unveiling the game.

The plot of the game has been set based on the topgraphical and environmental data provided by the NASA collected after extensive reasearch on the moon. Lunar Racing Championship PC is packed with high resolution, infra-red photos of the surface of the moon on which the racing track has been laid. Lunar Racing Championship for PC has been developed on the RADE game engine which was developed by VirtuSoft, the sister company of VirtuePlay. It is due to RADe engine only that Lunar Racing Chamionship excellently simulates the environment on the moon thus giving users the chance to go for a unique race on the moon under its unique gravitational pull.

Lunar Racing Championship will be releasing in Fall 2009 for PC and coin-operating arcade platforms. It will be a fun to play Lunar Racing Championship, a multiplayer fun loving challenge racing game.

Killzone 2 Patch 1.29 Update Arriving

A very small patch is going to arrive soon for Killzone 2. Patch 1.29 for Killzone 2 will be releasing for download next week. It will be simply a fix over the issues created by Killzone 2 update 1.28. Killzone 2 Patch 1.29 will contain fixes for Visari Palace Mission and a crash fix. Only these two fixes have been reported to be included in the patch update.

Map Pack 3 for Call of Duty World at War in August

You will be getting Call of Duty World at War Map Pack 3 in August. Map Pack 3 for Call of Duty World at War will be arriving in August as confirmed by the Activision and Treyarch. Just few days ago map pack 2 arrived in the form of Call of Duty World at War Patch 1.5 for the game which was happily welcomed by the folks. Call of Duty World at War Map Pack 3 will feature 3 multiplayer maps and one zombie map pack. Three multiplayer maps to be featured in the game are Battery, Revolution and Breach and the Zombie map included in the Map Pack 3 of COD: WAW is being called by the name Der Reise. The three mulitplayer maps are being developed in partnership with Certain Affinity and all the four maps of Call of Duty World at War Map Packs 3 will available on Xbox 360 and Playstation 3.

On Warhammer Herald has been posted the Warhammer Online patch 1.3.0.b details. These Warhammer Online 1.3.0.b patch update details have been given by Jeff Skalski who mentioned about the team's development plans for the patch. The Warhammer Online Patch 1.3.0.b will contain following updates, changes and fixes as mentioned by him;


All AoE abilities are moving to standardized ranges and coverage, based on their type (Melee "Cleave", Conical AoE, Line AoE, PBAoE, or Targeted AoE).

All Immunities Persist Through Death: Pretty simple one here, no more Stun -> Dead -> Rez -> Stun -> Dead.

Increased Duration of Disable Immunities: Immunities for the disable family of CC (knockdown, stun, disarm, and silence) will have their immunity timers increased from 6 times the effect duration to 10 times the effect duration. In other words, if you are stunned for three seconds, in 1.3 you would have an 18-second immunity. With this change, that same immunity would be 30 seconds.

Root Immunity and Knockback/Pull Immunity Combined: We're rolling root immunity and knockback/pull immunity together into a single "movement immunity" effect. This immunity will remain for 30 seconds, and will prevent you from things such as being pulled in, then immediately rooted in place, making it a much more tactical decision about whether it's better to stop an enemy in place or move them around.

New Renown Purchase Ability: We are releasing a new Renown Point purchasable ability at Renown Rank 40 that will be a "CC immunity" that players can trigger for temporary CC immunity. This should help break up the "I get CC'd at the beginning of a fight and there is nothing I can do about it" issues.

The next phase of Archmage and Shaman changes, including cohesive Mastery paths and new abilities and Tactics.

Runes and Marks will be able to stack on allies.

Players will now receive an additional 50% bonus to experience and a 150% bonus to renown when killing players near Battlefield Objectives or Keeps in open RvR.

Modern Warfare 2 Demo Coming, Beta Confused

Update 4: Ok finally the words have come abour playable Modern Warfare 2 demo. So whether or not Modern Warfare 2 beta comes to the public, the demo will be there certainly as Infinity Ward has confirmed the Modern Warfare 2 demo on their Twitter page. But they also said that there are no current plans of releasing the demo, infact not until the game releases on November 10. Taking a divert from the Modern Warfare 2 demo version, they are more focussed on shipping the full game. Later on only the demo could be possible.

Atleast there is a hope now that Modern Warfare 2 demo is coming. Will there be public Modern Warfare 2 beta also. Infinity once said of its plans of releasing the public beta near the game release. Let's see whether the Modern Warfare 2 demo comes alone or if there will be Modern Warfare 2 beta also for the public before the game release.

They just confirmed that no public beta will be there by the time as they are trying to solve the issues through internal Modern Warfare 2 beta testing.

Ha, still no news on Modern Warfare 2 demo. I think no Modern Warfare 2 demo announcement will be made now.

Update 2: From Gamescom has come the news about Modern Warfare 2 beta version. Activision has told CVG that there will be no multiplayer Modern Warfare 2 beta coming. So does this means that the game will come without beta and demo. Modern Warfare 2 demo is already not speculated by anyone and unhearty news announcement regarding the multiplayer beta just angers their hopes. However closed beta will be there for Modern Warfare 2 inside the Activision house and if they felt the need to take beta to the public, they will come up with Modern Warfare 2 beta for public as well.

What does Activision wants to prove? Did they forget that the original game was a big success just because there was a demo as well as beta for the game. Activision should think on creating Modern Warfare 2 demo if can't release the Modern Warfare 2 beta.

Update: UFC 2009 Undisputed patch is out now. It is released on Xbox 360 world wide and for playstation 3 in Europe only. The DNF is only counted for the player who executes the disconnection. The DNF rate will be displayed on the fighter selection screen of the Online Ranked Match. When disconnected the Winning Streak is also reset to 0.

2) Adjusted Ranked Matches to match up players with better connections, which will improve lag issues we’ve seen to date.

3) Adjusted the difficulty of performing submissions against AI opponents to improve the balance of subs vs. striking when playing against the AI.

4) UFC 2009 Undisputed patch update adjusted the Flash KO rate so that they are less frequent.

5) Increased maximum number of points awarded in online play from 99,999 to 999,999 and increased the Max Level from 100 to 200.

6) Lowered the Winning Streak Bonus Max from 5 to 3.

7) UFC 2009 Undisputed patch removed the decimal places on the Leaderboard Winning Percentage so we only show whole percentages.

8) UFC 2009 Undisputed patch addressed the CAF cheat so the skill levels in CAF cannot be cheated and increased. Also any CAF with unfair point values will no longer be able to be used Online.

9) For PS3 users fixed a bug that causes a freeze during auto-save; whichever controller was used to Press Start on the Title Screen will be identified as the main controller.

He also mentioned that pre-orderers will get an early access to Left 4 Dead multiplayer demo for both PC and Xbox 360. This pre-ordering bonus applies to both types of customers: who buy the game on the disc and those who pre-order it on Steam. Laxius Force 2 Announced

Laxius Force 2 has been announced by Aldorlea Games, the company in the possession of the franchise. Laxius Force 2 will be a direct sequel to the Laxius force, the first role playing game of the franchise. Like its predecessor, Laxius Force 2 will also be a role playing game. Aldorlea Games has announced the game to be in development and currently planned for release late this year. Two Worlds 2 is a role playing game announced for PC, Xbox 360 and PS3 platforms by TopWare Interactive. Left 4 Dead 2 Demo Confirmed

Update 4: Left 4 Dead 2 demo download is live now on XBL. So Xbox 360 users can visit XBL from their 360 to download Left 4 Dead 2 demo. The L4D2 demo for PC users has been delayed but will be released shortly. Planned for release at 2AM EST, Left 4 Dead 2 demo for PC will now launch by 4PM EST, a wait for another 14 hours. Update 3: Did you preordered the game for PC or Xbox 360? If yes, you can pre-load demo for PC from Steam starting October 27. Update 2: Details for Left 4 Dead 2 demo are out now. The demo will feature The Perish campaign that takes place in the New Orelans French Quarter. L4D2 demo will be playable by one to four players on LAN or using Internet connections.

Update 1: The release date has been confirmed now for PC. The L4D2 PC demo will be coming next month in October. October 27 has been put as the release date for the L4D 2 demo and we just have to see if Left 4 Dead 2 demo also releases on the same day for other platforms or not. Well Left 4 Dead 2 PC demo will be initially available through Steam only but later on might be available from other download providers as well. So you need to have Steam client installed on your PC, if you want to play the L4D2 demo.
