Dreamkiller PC, Xbox 360 Announced

Mindware Studios have announced their next project Dreamkiller for PC and Xbox 360 platforms. Dreamkiller PC will let players take the role of Alice Drake, a renowned pyschologist known for treating his patients by entering their minds to eliminate the ravenous foes haunting their dreams. Dreamkiller for PC and Xbox 360 is defined as the fast, frantic and mega-bloodbath FPS by Mindware which will take players inside the darkness of tortured soles possesed by somes unknown forces.

Dreamkiller for PC as well as Xbox 360 features both single player as well as multiplayer play. Single player consists of 12 fascinating levels each giving player a challenge to fight demons of tortured souls to bring out the fear of their mind. Player use various tools and her own ability while fighting hideous enemies of mind. Dreamkiller PC and Xbox 360 versions features several multiplayer modes for which no details are available yet. Dreamkiller PC and Xbox 360 is to be published by Aspyr Media and will be released in fall/ autumn this year.

Lost Planet 2 Demo Coming

Update 1: Lost Planet 2 demo is out now on Xbox Live. Xbox players can download Lost Planet 2 demo by visiting XBL from their 360 consoles. Well this is co-op demo fo the game and not the single player demo. Lost Planet 2 demo on PS3 is expected to release soon.

Lost Planet 2 demo was confirmed for Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 but no release date was given fo the demo. But you should be happy now as Lost Planet 2 demo is coming on your Xbox 360 this coming Wednesday. From Wednesday onwards, players will be able to download Lost Planet 2 demo for their Xbox 360. to download the demo, players have to visit Xbox Live Marketplace from their 360.

Well on Wednesday, gold members will be granted exclusive access to Lost Planet 2 demo download. Silver members would be able to download Lost Planet 2 day a week later. That is, gold members can download the game from August 19 onwards where as silver members have to wait till August 26 to download Lost Planet 2 demo version.

The demo is also confirmed for PS3 and is expected to come along with the release for silver members. The content for the Lost Planet 2 demo for xbox 360 and ps3 won't be same. While there will be a co-op play in Lost Planet 2 demo for Xbox 360 there will be no such feature in the Ps3 dmeo of the game. However apart from this rest everything will be same in the demo for two platforms. The Lost Planet 2 demo releasing next week will be the same demo that was shown at E3.

No information was given about Lost Planet 2 Pc demo version. It hasn't been announced yet.

Release Date Confirmed for Battlefield 1943

Since the announcement of Battlefield 1943, we have always delivered you the updates whenever some new information gets available regarding the game. Well the release date of Battlefield 1943 is currently set to July 19. Is Gran Turismo 5 Release Date set in November ?

Play.com is claiming that Gran Turismo 5 release date is set for November 27, 2009. But is it true that Gran Tursimo 5 will be releasing on that exact date only? Here are few things pointed by PS3 Center which denies the possibility of game coming in November.

1) The first excuse given is that Play.com already have many other games scheduled for release on the same day and this much number of games can't release in single day alone.

2) Secondly, Gran Turismo 5 release date wasn't announced at E3. It makes more sense to announce the release date for the game at GamesCom which takes place in Europe as the game is more popular in Europe than America and Japan combined.

3) Third excuse is that developers can release Gran Tursimo 5 at any time as they announced earlier, so this also denies the fact that Gran Turismo 5 release date for PS3, PC and other platforms (if any) is set in November.

Xbox 360 exclusive tag will stay forever on Splinter Cell Conviction. Now there is no reason to ask if Splinter Cell Conviction PC and PS3 versions will arrive ever. Dev Q&A is posted at UBI Forums where apostman24 asked why the game is not coming to PS3. The reply was that the developers wanted to stick game to Microsoft platform and to console hardware only. So they are not developing Splinter Cell Conviction for PC and PS3. Below is the full question asked and reply given by developers regarding Splinter Cell Conviction coming for PC and PS3.


Q. I saw the splinter cell conviction gameplay today but then I found out that it isn’t coming out on the PS3. Why would you do that ?

A. Splinter Cell conviction is a true Microsoft exclusive title and there are no plans to have Splinter Cell Conviction on other platforms. There are several reasons behind this choice. First of all, Splinter Cell games are historically linked with Microsoft platforms. The first Splinter Cell on the original Xbox was one of the first games to fully exploit the console’s technical possibilities. At that time, Microsoft really believed in the game potential and provided strong support to promote it. So, there is a “link of heart” between the franchise and the platform. Some games are like this (think of Final Fantasy for instance). The second reason behind this choice is purely linked to production. Having a single target platform means that we can optimize the game even further, because we only have one type of - console - hardware to support.

In another question asked about Splinter Cell Conviction, they told that multiplayer component is currently under development at Ubisoft Montreal and will be soon shown to the public in coming weeks.

Battlefield 1943 Demo, No Beta

At the time of announcement EA DICE told that Battlefield 1943 is download only. Now we have got the news that there will be no beta for the game, Battlefield 1943 demo will release instead. This is a good news from gamers point of view as the release of Battlefield 1943 demo will let masses play the trial version where as Battlefield 1943 beta will only let certain number of players to try it.

Well this announcement of Battlefield 1943 demo coming instead of public beta is for Xbox Live Arcade only. Producer Gordon Van Dyke didn't mentioned about releasing public beta for Playstation Network. In a live Q&A with Eurogamer, he said that EA DICE has decided not to offer public beta, but there will be trial version that is Battlefield 1943 demo will be there for Xbox 360. He mentioned it to be the best game under $15 price tag.

Gordon Van Dyke also talked about Battlefield 1943 PC version which he spotted for late September release. We can't figure out yet if Battlefield 1943 PC demo will come or not. WriSpi3 for PC lets you guide the wrestler to win world titles by defeating their rivals through tough matches. Every match in Wrestling Spirit 3 is in the control of the player. Ghostbusters PC version is without multiplayer. This has been confirmed by ecto-web who gt five free copies from Atari. He talked about Ghostbusters PC, PS3, Wii, DS and Xbox 360 on his blog but not about PS2 version as he didn't got the copy for it. Well what was most stunning to read on his blog was that Ghostbusters PC version is without any multiplayer. He mentioned about Ghostbusters multiplayer capabilities for PS3, Xbox 360 but Ghostbusters PC version is not multiplayer.

So players would be able to play Ghostbusters PC in single player mode only. But this is a review copy only. Who knows there comes multiplayer contained in the Ghostbusters PC version whoch is due for release with other versions of the game. Ghostbusters PC version is releasing June 16th i.e tomorrow, so there is no pre-game release PC demo for the game as well

ArmA 2 Demo Next Week

Armed Assault 2 demo or in short ArmA 2 demo is heading for next week release. The game is presently available in Germany and is slowly targetting other markets of the world. Bohemia Interactive has revealed the demo for ArmA 2 coming next week. However it didn't say what day of next week ArmA 2 demo will be out actually. Update 1: Bioware has posted on a twitter feed that Mass Effect 2 demo is overheating xboxes. Well what demo are they talking about. Is this talk about Mass Effect 2 demo being shown at Gamescom or are they talking about actual ME 2 demo which is to release before the full game release. Well they have also mentioned about installing a fix for this Mass Effect 2 demo. So this makes us confused whether it is Gamescom demo or original Mass Effect 2 demo which is to be released for play. Check the twitter page on Mass Effect 2 demo yourself here.

Original: Actual Mass effect 2 demo may be far from the release but here we present you with a Mass effect 2 demo preview which has been posted on Youtube by Dose.ca. This might be a demonstration that was shown at E3, anyway we are not certain about this Mass Effect 2 demo. Well there won't be any playable Mass Effect 2 demo as far as I knows as there wasn't one for the previous game.

In demo gameplay, you can see Commander Shephared on a mission at an Alien planet. He is being accompanied by a woman named Miranda on his mission. Well there is one more character called Jacob, so there are three characters in total to launch an all-out assault on the heart of enemy territory. Mass Effect 2 demo preview shows improvedd combat than the previous game. Gun points are smoother, controls are more accurate, there is location based tragetting, easy loading and unloading etc. Infact all of the complaints of the first game have been worked upon an dwhat you will see in a Mass Effect 2 demo preview is a refined gameplay that you will play in the sequel.

Dirt 2 Demo (Playable) in Sep

Here is a good news for Dirt 2 fans. Codemasters will be releasing Dirt 2 demo in September but before actual game release so that all the players can taste the gameplay that this game offers. Dirt 2 playable demo will be launched on PSN in September which means playstation players can access the Dirt 2 demo for PS3 as well as PSP, both. However no details about Dirt 2 demo for PC, Xbox 360 and Nintendo DS are given yet.

Details about upcoming Dirt 2 demo on PSN are given by the chief games designer at Codemasters, Matt Horseman who almost confirmed the demo for the September release. Well full game is also coming in September. This means Dirt 2 demo will be almost a week before the full game release. Along with confirming demo for PS3 version, he malso mentioned that Dirt 2 PS3 version will include screen grabber feature added in the 2.50 firmware update. Hope there comes an announcement for Dirt 2 PC demo and demo for Xbox 360 as well.

Overlord 2 demo is live but for Xbox 360 only. It looks if there is a trend of releasing demos on Xbox Live first before releasing them for PC and PS3. Well below are the details of Overlord 2 demo for Xbox 360 as given by the developers:


In the Overlord 2 demo, players step into the big spiky boots of a new Overlord whose sights are firmly set on becoming the king of chaos, the bringer of evil and the master of Minions. As the demo opens the Overlord, aided and abetted by a team of brown fighter Minions, emerges from his underground lair into the ice caves only to discover a Yeti frozen in a block of ice. The Minions can, in their inimitably violent way, ‘defrost’ him and then give chase as he knuckles out into the snowy wastes of the Hunting Grounds, near the town of Nordberg.

In Overlord 2 demo, then it’s time to put the Minions to work, harvesting valuable life-force from the indigenous fauna. Minions will happily lock onto anything in the vicinity – including fluffy seal pups (‘Well,’ argue the Minions, ‘the smelly furballs are eating all the lovely fishies’). There are also Nordburgian Hunters and hippy, peace-loving elves to contend with in Overlord 2 demo version but, as ever, the Minions aren’t fussy who they attack for their master.

As the Overlord 2 demo game opens, the Empire’s Inquisition is on the hunt for anyone who has magical resonance. In the Arctic wastelands, where Yetis roam, lies the snowy town of Nordberg. Here a young lad is singled out by the Inquisition and accused of possessing a magical force (what with him having strange glowing eyes and everything). However, as he is led off, the Empire guards come under attack from a band of strange little leathery, big-eared, yellow-eyed beasts: it’s the Minions! With a rousing cry of “Master” the devilishly charming critters carry the boy off – they’ve found their new Overlord.

Metal Gear Solid Rising PC Confirmed

Day before yesterday, we came to knew about Metal Gear Solid Rising, but for Xbox 360 only. Details and confirmation about Metal Gear Solid Rising PC version and PS3 version were not given at that time. Konami announced it for Xbox 360 only at E3 initially. But now Konami has confirmed Metal Gear Solid Rising PC as well as PS3. So now you can play Metal Gear Solid Rising PC version also after it releases as it is confirmed for the platform. However it will still remain the first MGS game to be launched for Xbox 360. Though no new details have been given but this is enough for today that you will be playing Metal Gear Solid Rising on PC, Xbox 360 and PS3 after release instead of Xbox 360 alone as it was believed to be.

You will find the similar entertaining storyline in Metal Gear Solid Rising PC and other versions as you found in the previous games of the franchise. Raiden, one of the most important character made popular through MGS2 will be making appearance in MGSR PC, Xbox 360 and PS3 versions also. The character is believed to be playable in MGSR (PC/Xbox360/PS3). Metal Gear Solid Rising PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 release date is not given yet, however it is believed that the game will release by the year's end. And no information about Metal Gear Solid Rising demo for PC, Xbox 360 and PS3 as of now.

Bioshock 2 Multiplayer Demo at E3

Bioshock 2 is multiplayer - did you know that? If yes then here is a Bioshock 2 multiplayer demo for you which has been demonstrated at E3, 2009 by 2K Marin and Digital Extremes. Original game was without any multiplayer, so 2K Marin wanted to do something right for the second game, so it brought Bioshock 2 multiplayer demo at E3. E3 is the right platform for showcasing Bioshock 2 demo for multiplayer as the game will be releasing in 2 or 3 months from now. What has been demonstrated at E3 by Bioshock 2 multiplayer demo is that multiplayer story is prequel to the events of the original game though single player story is set after the events of the first game.

This was a hands on demo where you could see people playing Bioshock 2 demo live on servers, attacking and streaking lightning on the maps. There is also a vending machine from where you can pick up items kept in the tray at the bottom. Items includes things such as Big Daddy Armor suit which will gain you defense and strength but at the cost of mobility.

If we have now talked about Big Daddy then let me tell you that Bioshock 2 multiplayer demo will let players play as a human and not a Big Daddy under the aegis of Sinclair Solutions who is behind investigating the side effects of splicing. Well Bioshock 2 multiplayer demo didn't detail everything about the multiplayer game at E3, so you can expect more bioshock 2 multiplayer details arriving soon.

Bioshock 2 PC version, Xbox 360 version and playstation 3 version are currently schedule for release in October this year.

The Witcher Enhanced Edition Patch Details

The Witcher: Enhanced Edition 1.5 is the newest version of the game, including all bonus content from The Witcher: Enhanced Edition and five additional fan-made adventures. Most importantly, The Witcher: Enhanced Edition 1.5 is completely DRM-free! Playing The Witcher will be even more fun without any form of annoying copy protection. Though there may not be any playable Assassin's Creed 2 demo but a video demonstration of the game has been shown at E3 for playstation 3. Crysis 2 - Crysis 2 Announced

Do you play games such as Crysis and Crysis Warhead? Do you like such games? We have one new such game announcement for you today. After the success of Crysis and Crysis Warhead, Crytek has announced to continue with Crysis 2, a second full game in the series. Talking truth, the announcement regarding Crysis 2 has not come from Crytek, rather EA announced that it will work with Crytek to publish Crysis 2. CryEngine is already so famous between the game lovers and Crysis 2 is being developed over the enhanced version of it i.e. CryEngine 3, a state-of-the-art multiplatform game development solution from the company.

Crysis 2 will be a landmark in the history of games developed by Crytek as this will be the first game to be made for consoles. Yes along with Crysis 2 PC version, you will be getting it on Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 as well. I am in doubt about it coming for Wii.
