There are many tutorials on the Internet that guide you on "How to setup counter strike Dedicated Server?" but they are old now. Here is a fresh new tutorial using which you can setup dedicated server in no time. Here are some pre-requisites of this tutorial. Please check them below:

• Download hldsupdatetool.exe file
• Internet connection
• Ample space on Hard Disk.

What's next? Next are few steps that you need to configure in order to run your own counter strike server. Check those steps below:

1. Double click the hldsupdatetool.exe file and install it. Please make sure that the file is installed in the directory in which your operating system is residing.
2. Suppose you have installed the file in C:/hlds directory. Now go to start > run > cmd > cd/ > cd hlds. From here you can run hldsupdatetool.exe file.

Single player story opens with a unnerving cutscene portraying cents of alien warships progressing towards Earth with a mission to exterminate it. Player takes the role of a Seth Walker, a combat engineer, who is armed with machine gun only. As a Seth Walker you take on blasting Kerak, a companion of aliens. Though developers instated a solid combat system in Space Siege but it never came out to be. Also same elements are being repeated in the game. There are some cybernetic upgrades used to improve human abilities but they are insignificant.

Just like graphics and gameplay, sound is also not so impressive. You will start feeling like as if you have reached some boring place. Space Siege single player plot is set on the lone ship Armstrong but multiplayer plot begins at Tachibana, another lone ship in the game. The multiplayer mode can support up to four players riding on the ship and invading kerak. Space Siege story is though great but the game itself is not so. If you take the story out of the game, you will be left with combat and gameplay that can never impress you.

Bionic Commando Rearmed is a Capcom’s latest released video game. Developed and published by CapCom, the game is an enhanced remake of the 1988 bionic Commando that was released on NES. The story of the Bionic Commando Rearmed follows in the form of series of levels. Player takes the role of Nathan Rad Spencer who has been enhanced with bionic arm. This bionic arm can be used to reach distant places through the grappling hook that it features. If the destination is too far, player may need to perform series of grappling actions until he finishes off the level. Maps are also provided in the Bionic Commando Rearmed video game. These are the tactical maps highlighting friendly and enemy areas. In multiplayer version, different players can compete in co-operative mode. There is also a deathmatch mode for the bionic Commando Rearmed.

IGN gave the game 9.5 out of 10 rating. Similarly other reviewers have rated Bionic Commando Rearmed greatly. The game was well received with big applause. IGN has referred it as the best downloadable game for the XBLA and PSN. Graphics and AI was highly praised. Soundtracks were also released that can be downloaded free. However, I wonder why Capcom didn’t make available any Bionic Commando Rearmed free trial version. There was a demo released but I couldn’t find it anywhere. Manhunt is a controversial video game developed and published by Rockstar Games. In Manhunt, player is given wide range of self protecting weapons like baseball bats, plastic bags, crowbars and sharp items to safeguard him. Also if player’s health is falling he can take painkillers to regenerate. Player is rated at the end of the level based on the number of grisly killings. Manhunt locations consist of dark places that let the player to hide making him almost invisible to the “Hunters”.

Manhunt is available in single player version only. If you are playing it on PS2 or Xbox then you can make use of supported microphones also to distract enemies in the game. Controversy has always been a part of the Manhunt gameplay. The manner in which player executes his enemies is extremely violent. This game is not for minors. Even there is a real life murder being associated with the game. Manhunt has been banned in many countries and many other countries have imposed certain restrictions on it. There are many items in this game resembling to those of GTA series such as soft drink advertisements, motorcycles, same corrupt police officer, vehicles taken from GTA San Andreas etc.

Despite of being a controversial video game, Manhunt was highly appreciated. Though Norse Gods are enhanced humans but they work more like a machine. There are lot of features included in Too human. This is a third person action adventure RPG just like Champions of Norrath. It has all the elements of a true RPG game. The artificial intelligence induced in the game is extremely good. Camera controller let you view the game from different cinematic. You can control combat in the Too Human dynamically using right analogue stick. These units have super natural powers using which they can destroy anything coming there way.

Player can choose to play any of the three civilizations: Egyptian, Norse and Greeks in the game. Every civilization has its own major Gods who grant them abilities to build communities and defeat enemies. Just like AOE, Age of Mythology also relies upon four major elements: food, wood, gold and favor. Favor is something new to the game and if granted by Gods can bring civilization immense health and wealth. There is also a marketplace where civilizations can trade resources. There is every type of building in Age of Mythology from economic to military to defensive structures.

Age of Mythology multiplayer mode is played through Ensemble Studios Online (ESO). It is really enjoyable to player its multiplayer mode. Need for Speed Undercover More Details Revealed

Coming on November 18, Need for Speed Undercover is the latest game in the popular NFS games series next to NFS ProStreet. The game is still under development by EA Black Box and will be published by Electronic Arts after it is released on November 18, 2008 in North America. For Europe, game is set to be released on 21 November, 2008, three days after the American release. Earlier, it was believed that Need for Speed Undercover will be released on Apple iPhone only. But now the company has confirmed its release on multiple platforms including Windows PC, Mac, Xbox 360, PS3, Wii, PS2, PSP, and Mobile platforms. NFS Undercover will be the twelfth released game of the series.

As of now, more details have been released for Need for Speed Undercover. Now international film star Maggie Q will be featuring the game. This game is going to be far-far better than NFS ProStreet, as stated by EA CEO John Riccitiello. Ha, they confirmed that ProStreet wasn’t as good as it has to be. Need for Speed Undercover will include everything from police chases to illegal races to live actions. Yes live action sequences NFS Carbon and NFS Most Wanted are also returning. Apart from street racing, Undercover will depict structured missions also. Game has taken longer than needed development time.

Need for Speed Undercover will include sandbox style gameplay similar to Most Wanted and an open-world racing, a quite old feature of the series. The game has been reverted back to open world racing because of the poor performance by NFS ProStreet. There will be a new highway battle mode in the NFS Undercover where player’s car can race with other cars on the highway while dueling with them. Everything is fair in Need for Speed Undercover. EA hasn’t confirmed about any demo release for the game. I think there will be NFS Undercover demo because all earlier releases of the series have demo versions.

Some of the common societies of the game are authoritarian, capitalist, contemplative, industrialist, romantic, fun city, small town etc. Buildings in the SimCity Societies are classified into four types: houses, work places, venues and power plants.

The game got mixed response from the gaming community. Some liked the game and some don’t. Generally, the ratings for the SimCity Societies were average to poor; as poor as 3 out of 10 were awarded. Dead Space is an upcoming video game being under development by EA Redwood Shores. The game will be distributed by Electronic Arts after it is developed. Storyline: Dead Space follows the story of Issac Clarke, a space engineer who is set to fight an alien race named “Necromorphs” after been detached from his crew on the board. Issac Clarke works for Concordance Extraction Corporation (C.E.C) which operates huge mining ships throughout the galaxy. Then one day Issac Clarke with companion is asked to repair Ishimura, another giant mining ship. After he board the ship, he comes to know that ship has been hijacked by aliens. From here begins the combat in dead space. Dead space is plotted in the form of comic with different chapters. Even one comic book was released that is prequel to the games story.

Gameplay: Dead Space has everything. It has elements of survival horror, action and third person shooter video games. It depicts over the shoulder third person perspective similar to Gears of War. As the plot is set in the space, so player will often feel weightless, as such Issac is provided with special pressurized suit and magnetic boots. Gameplay of the Dead Space will be outstanding. There will be floating wreck in the game that will often hamper player’s progress. So along with tackling enemies, player would need to tackle with debris also. If he ever gets struck by floating debris, he would float deep into the space. What is good in Dead Space is that the game features weapons that are meant to be for an engineer and not for a soldier. These weapons include nuts, bolts, stasis guns and energy weapons.

Combat in Dead space is quite different from other video games. In other video games, we often see main antagonist dies after series of attacks but here in Dead Space things are different. In this game, antagonist can reproduce the wounded parts, so player require different approach to kill him. This approach is based on finding the weak points and hitting over there. It is similar to killing Ravana, the prime antagonist of Indian epic- Ramayana. EA has reported of being aggressive in marketing Dead Space as the date is commencing. The game will be available on DVD and Blu-ray disc and no download or free download will be available for Dead Space.
